Valentine's Day
On Valentine's Day morning the girls and I were home so we all got ready in purple. I tried to take a picture of the girls but I have probably 8 pictures of them where neither one of them are looking at the camera. I only put the two on here really quick last night. I love this one of Elora on the couch. She's so beautiful. And then I have this one of Livi smiling SO HAPPY! She is so darling. I love my girls. I didn't have time to add more pictures last night. I'll work on it some more this weekend. It takes a long time to "blog". And I can't figure out how to get the pictures where I want them.

Pictures
Pictures seem to have low priority when it comes to sick kids. On Valentine's Day evening, after our heart-shaped pizza for dinner and both girls were nestled snug in their beds, Pace and I were snuggled on the couch and 5 minutes into our movie both of us heard someone upstairs throw up. Elora was sick non stop all night until about 6 in the morning. Pace went to the store around 7 am to get Pedialite, sprite and carpet cleaner. I had to go into work to open while Pace stayed with the girls until I got back. It was a long day of throw up/diarrhea laundry (that's not done), chicken soup and oatmeal dishes (that aren't done), cleaning the bathroom floor and rugs, cleaning the carpet (that still smells) and washing out the "barf-bucket" again and then again. Meanwhile we cuddled in blankets and pillows on the floor and watched movies and read books and played toys. Livi was a good sport when I had to leave her by herself with her toys to tend to Elora. She spits up a lot but one was particularly large that I would consider throwing up, however she didn't have a fever or was overly pale like Elora so I think she just has issues with formula. I have tried soy, sensitive, extra sensitive, breast milk, regular formula, different brands. Nothing ever changes. She just had her 4 month check up and got shots. This new pediatrician I like, almost as much as our old pediatrician, he has concluded that Livi has acid reflux (from Daddy)and a small milk sensitivity (from Mommy). So unless I want to switch her to goats milk or something, he said she'll be ok as long as I don't force her to drink more formula than she can handle and now that she's starting on foods it will hopefully get better for her. As soon as she can sit up by herself we should see a definite improvement because that will help keep stuff in her tummy.
So today when I get home from work, I will have my girls help me decide which pictures should go on the blog. Elora I can tell is going to be a picture taker when she gets older. Livi doesn't seem interested yet. :)
